The 76ers almost wrapped up a deal to send Iverson to the Bobcats, before Iverson indicated his displeasure with being sent to the dismal Charlotte Bobcats.
Charlotte could easily acquire Iverson because they are $15 million under the salary cap. The problem is the Bobcats are struggling to draw fans and win games.
Indiana, Boston and Minnesota continue to express interest in Iverson, with Denver and Sacramento also in the mix.
Sacramento has a good offer which includes Mike Bibby and forward Kenny Thomas for Iverson.
This trade would reunite Mike Bibby and Chris Webber, but the Sixers want players who's contracts expire within the next two years.
But Thomas' contract does not expire until after the 2008-09 season.
