Well, the Nuggets just can't seem to find a chemistry, especially on defense.
While Carmelo tallied 30 points and Marcus Camby recorded 7 blocks, Mutombo became the oldest player in NBA history to record over 20 rebounds in a game, finishing with 22 boards in the Houston Rockets' 108-97 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday night.
Mutombo is on his way to 41 years old in June.
What the Nuggets need to learn how to do is PLAY DEFENSE. They are 0-19 when they do not score 100 or more points.
A.I. chipped in 19 points in the loss but was amazed at Mutombo's skill.
"He's 40?'' laughed Iverson, "Man, he's doing great. What can you say about him? They lose a great player like Yao Ming (to a fractured tibia), and have a great backup center like that. You talk about him being 40 years old, he's got many more years to play.''
