Chris Webber Asks For Trade

Allen Iverson Biography
Word on the street is Chris Webber talked with 76ers President Billy King on Friday and asked for a trade! He cites his "reduced role" on the team as the cause, reasonably so since he has been getting as much bench time as playing time during the fourth quarter.
Webber hasn't been in the game during the fourth quarter in 3 games.
"I'm not going to keep playing like this," Webber told the Bee a miserable six points in 23 minutes Wednesday as the Sixers beat Seattle, 96-90. "I don't like this role. So you can take that however you want."
King told the Associated Press last night that he had talked recently with Webber, but he did not say whether a trade had been requested.
"The focus has been on the team all year, and Chris is an important member of the team," King said. "Maurice has been making decisions each game that he and the staff feel will give us the best opportunity to succeed, and I support him in the decision-making process."
Well it wouldn't be that bad if the Sixers could trade Webber for some help on defense and in the post.
Make sure you vote on the poll (far right) if you want Webber traded or not and stay tuned for more on the Webber Drama!
